Sharon N. Barnartt, female, Ph.D., Professor of Sociology at Galladet University, USA. Mainly engaged in sociological research on the disabled, co-authored "Now the Deaf as the Principal: The Revolution of 1988 at Garrett University" (1995) and "Competitive Politics in the Disabled and Deaf Community" (2001) Wait. Published several papers on socioeconomic status and disability/deafness, legal and disability policy issues, and published a book on social movements in disability communities, former president of the American Society for Disability Research, Social Science Research and Disability Assistant editor, and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Disability Policy Research.
