  • The ISUSW 2021 concluded successfully

    At 2:30pm Beijing time (GMT + 8 time) and 6:30pm Lausanne time (GMT + 2 time) on 20 July, the International Summer University in 2021 held brief closing ceremony of groups A and B respectively.

    Dr. Sophie Tapparel, General Secretary of the ISUSW Consortium, thanked teachers and students for their active participation and the whole process guidance of Professor Gao Jianguo. She believes that the summer university has overcome the difficulties of different time zones and software technology, organized online course learning, ensured the course quality, and the students' speech interaction is also commendable.

    In the speech, Professor Hong Jae Park, from the Western Sydney University, thanked the program team for preparations and the valuable opportunity for students to participate in international exchanges and improve their individual professional skills. He hoped to develop bettercoursesto attract more international students, and looked forward to meeting and communicating face to face next year.

    Professor Gao Jianguo, from Shandong University, highly praised the performance of students, and expressed sincere gratitude to all teachers and students who actively participated in the course. He also explained the curriculum materials, certificates of participation, and the collection of suggestions for improvement of summer university. He also gave good wishes to the teachers and students, and hoped to meet offline in the future.

    With the closing remarks of the two groups, the 2021 International Summer University in Social Work (the ISUSW 2021) came to a successful conclusion. This ISUSW took"online social work" as the theme, with the participation of teachers and students from 8 well-known universities at home and abroad. It provided a unique learning platform for students by various learning forms, so that students can understand and discuss online social work. They actively communicated and shared, and have praised highly specialized lectures, workshops and other arrangements in the process of summer course.
